Chase's passion for racing started the day he was born while watching his first race on TV with Dad from the hospital bed. He is now entering his 4th year in competitive kart racing. Coming strong out of the gate, Chase finished every race in the CRKC Championship on the podium in 2007, winning the Championship in the process. Building on his success, Chase moved up to the Cadet Class for 2008. Competing in the HRKC, Chase put together the 3rd highest points total and finished 4th overall in the Ontario Regional Karting Championship (ORKC). Continuing to pursue his dreams of a professional racing career, Chase pushed ahead again moving up to the highly competitive Junior Rotax Class for 2009. Now in a full size chassis powered by a 125cc liquid cooled Rotax engine, Chase would be running against Canada's best in this highly competitive class. He gained very valuable experience racing in the BSRKC, the Coupe de Montreal and finished 3rd overall in the HRKC. Chase's biggest race to date - the Canadian National Karting Championship, started out very well as he consistently improved his lap times throughout practice and qualifying but he was taken out in a crash on the lap 2 of the feature with a bent chassis preventing him from continuing.
Now, with a year of experience under his belt in Rotax Junior, Chase heads into 2010 determined to take things to the next level. His first significant challenge will be the the highly competitive Florida Winter Tour starting in January. Come Spring, Chase will be back in Canada competing in the BSRKC, the HRKC and several events in the Coupe de Montreal not to mention taking on Canada's best once again in the Nationals.
