Testimonials
Living with a child who has type 1 diabetes has proven to be nothing less than challenging.  With the help of Chase and his family, however, we were able to overcome one major hurdle.  Chase's encouragement and one-on-one approach with our son Adam was invaluable.  Using his go-kart was a wonderful ice breaker.  Needless to say, Chase became like a role model for Adam so much so that he even keeps the picture of him and Chase next to his bed.  Thank you Chase!

York University’s Diabetes Sports Camp ran two weeks this July with approximately 30 adolescents with type 1 diabetes, aged 8-16 years. Chase Pelletier did two outstanding and inspirational presentations to the group of campers and their councillors this summer. His stories, pictures and videos helped those of us with type 1 realize that we can reach our true potential with a little dedication, family support, confidence and a positive outlook on our diabetes. Having the luxury of sitting in his motor cart at the end of his presentation for a few pictures was a highlight for all of us!
